The rooms are "chaos" worthy.
The routines are slowly developing.
It is interesting to note that you can move four children six hours away from all that they know and they will find their "normal" in the midst of moving boxes and new surroundings.
After a week of exploration, outside playtime, and regular bedtimes (in their own bedrooms)... the kids have made a smooth transition from Virginia to Maryland. Their comfort with the "new" is encouraging and reminds me that God's mercies are NEW every morning. For weeks I went to bed with a heavy heart full of stress and anxiety preparing for the move and God has proven once again that there is no place for my worries. His mercies are new. His love is everlasting. His promises enduring.
My kids must have known all along that all would be well.
I could learn lessons from their childlike faith, resilience, and dependency on God.
